Croxton House is family run which has been under the same family ownership for nearly 25 years. We, along with our three young children, live at Croxton House, and we delight in welcoming other families in staying in our beautiful home.
We have been a B&B for over 25 years and in 2021 will also be offering the house out to guests for self catering stays. We are installing a modern, fully equipped kitchen in early 2021 – all being well it will be fully operational in March 2021!
We are so proud of our great reviews and many of our guests are pleasantly surprised at how beautiful our local area is! We certainly aren’t, as we are nestled at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds – with the market towns of Caistor and Market Rasen close by – the ramblers amongst you will be delighted with the choice of walks – both easy and hard.
We are also dog lovers and Croxton House is one of a handful of accommodation providers in the local area to be dog friendly.
As well as being a mile away from Humberside Airport, we are well located for local transport links, so if you are looking for a base to explore the wider area of Lincolnshire, East/South Yorkshire we are ideal.
We hope you enjoy browsing our website and look forward to meeting you soon.
In the meanwhile, if you have any queries regarding the house, or the local area, please get in touch.
Croxton House Bed and Breakfast is a former farmhouse – with a working farmyard still next door. Built in the Georgian period, from the front door to the rooms, it has all the fine features a house from this period should have. All rooms have high ceilings, ornate coving and the wonderful staircase with a beautiful banister and fabulous arch window allowing glorious sunlight to flood in.
For those who love the open air, a large lawn and beautiful gardens and paddocks awaits you with a beautiful, large copper beach tree – which has many guests in awe and is also a big talking point! Our guests are welcome to wander round the garden and to stroke the ponies in the front paddock.
We love our home and hope that you enjoy it too!
