Prices:  The price includes overnight accommodation only. Unless clearly stated at the point of booking, any extra services required and provided may incur an additional cost.

We are not VAT registered; a receipt can be provided on request.

 

Deposit: Card details are securely held in case of cancellation or no shows. Upon booking your card will be checked, if incorrect details are given new details will be required to secure the booking. Once you have completed your stay with us these card details will be destroyed.

 

Privacy Policy: The information we collect about you

When you make a booking with us we record the name, home address, email address and telephone number of the person making the booking. We will also collect a debit or credit card number.

 

How we use the information we hold on you

We use your home address as part of the card payment processing to validate the card. We will use your email address to send you confirmation of the booking with details on other information you may find useful for your stay. We may use your telephone number to contact you if you have not arrived during the check in window.

 

How is your data stored

All of the personal and debit/credit card data you supply us, as part of the online booking process, is stored securely on a third party system, Free to Book. Neither us nor Free to Book will share your information with any third party unless there is a legal reason for doing so.  Once you have completed your stay your personal details, and credit card details are destroyed. We do not keep data on any individual past their stay.

 

Guest Registration

We are required by law to collect the following information on all our guests. We do this by asking you to complete a registration form on arrival. For commonwealth guests this includes your name and nationality. For non-commonwealth guests, your name, nationality, passport number, address of next destination.  We will keep these forms safely in a locked room. We are required to keep these registration forms for a year and show them to a police officer if they request to see them. We will destroy these forms 12 months after your stay.

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log  information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. You can set your browser not to accept cookies. Cancellation:  A reservation forms a legal contract for the total cost of the booking. Cancellation is free of charge if notification is received more than 7 days prior to your start date. Full payment will be taken 7 days prior to start date. If cancellation is received 7 days or less before the start date, no refund will be due. In case of no-show no refund is due, in all cases payment will be charged to your provided card. 

May we suggest that holiday insurance is purchased as with any holiday you would take abroad.

 

Non-availability:  We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control.

We would make every attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible or acceptable to you then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

 

Arrival/Departure:  Unless otherwise arranged, check in is after 4pm but no later than 9 pm on the arrival date agreed.

Notice of your anticipated arrival time would be appreciated. Should you arrive earlier than 4pm we will be happy to store your luggage whilst your room is made ready.

Latest check out is 10.00 am on the date of departure.

 

Damage:  Any damage or staining of the bed linen, carpets, furniture, soft furnishings and structure may be liable to a cleaning and/or repair charge. Payment for such damage will be taken from the card provided. This is at the discretion of the management.

 

Smoking: Smoking of Cigarettes, Electronic Cigarettes, Vapours and any other tobacco product will not be tolerated in the building. Anyone found to have smoked in the building will be asked to leave with immediate effect and payment for the whole stay will become payable. We reserve the right to charge for cleaning if any linen or furniture becomes saturated with cigarette smoke.

 

Parking:  Use of the parking space is at the risk of the car owner – no liability is held by the proprietors. Please park at the front of the house in a manner where other guests can park and leave without hindrance. If there are no spaces left at the front of the house, parking is available further down the drive and limited spaces in the farmyard.

 

Pets:  We accept dogs, with prior approval. Dogs must always be on a lead in the house and must not sleep on the furniture. Dogs must not be left in rooms alone at all. If a dog has been found to have damaged furniture or carpeting/rugs, payment for such damage will be taken from the card provided. This is at the discretion of the management.
